You can permanently delete your ShareLater account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is irreversible. This page explains how to delete your account from inside the app, and how to request deletion if you no longer have the app installed.
01Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the ShareLater app:
- Open ShareLater and sign in.
- Open the menu and go to Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm, and re-enter your credentials when prompted. Your account and data are removed immediately.
02What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account and login credentials.
- Your username and profile information.
- All saved links and their stored metadata.
- All boards you created.
- Anything currently in your Trash.
We retain no personal data once deletion is complete, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated usage data that cannot identify you may remain, as described in our Privacy Policy.
03Request deletion without the app
If you can't access the app or have already uninstalled it, you can request account deletion here. To protect your account, requests must come from the email address on the account — we verify ownership before deleting anything.
04What happens next
Once we verify your request, we permanently delete your account and associated data within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We'll confirm by email when it's done.
